About

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is committed to the advancement of the civil engineering profession and the individual engineer.  ASCE acts as a forum for the communication among individuals and groups involved in the practice of civil engineering.  ASCE also offers a variety of professional development opportunities to members of the profession.  The Iowa Section of ASCE, founded in 1920, exists so that Iowa civil engineers and associates may group together locally for their mutual benefit and professional advancement.

Purpose and Scope

This annual conference provides information on current practices, new techniques, standards, and regulatory requirements relative to land and engineering surveying.

Who Should Attend

Anyone involved in the business of land, engineering, or construction surveying should attend this conference.

Professional Development

This conference has been planned in accordance with the criteria established by the Iowa Engineering and Land Surveying Examining Board for professional development hours (PDHs). A total of up to 6.75 PDHs are available for the conference.
